Hello and welcome to RIVERO DESIGN, my name is
Maria Rivero. I offer consulting services in civil engineering, project management, civil design in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation, stormwater design, site development, roadway design, cost estimates, grading and drafting.
ABOUT MARIA, I was born in Caracas, Venezuela then moved to Washington State with my family at age 5. Growing up with 4 older brothers I enjoyed spending all my free time playing outside (I still do!). In 1996 I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I have 22+ years of experience in the civil engineering field and have managed and designed a variety of engineering projects ranging from commercial, residential, public site improvements, street designs, sanitary sewers, water transmission line, pump stations, restoration (river, tidal, habitat), fish-passage, culvert designs, low-impact storm water designs and site development.
AWARDS Rivero Design is honored to be among the 17 local businesses recognized at the 2017 Building Diversity Awards hosted by the Daily Journal of Commerce. Firms were selected for their efforts in shaping the built environment through outstanding work, leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and promotion of industry diversity.
